Joe Cocker jailed
Joe Cocker spent about 36 hours in jail after concert organisers alleged they lost the equivalent of $31,900 because the British pop singer missed a recent concert. Upon his release, Cocker said Austrian authorities had dropped accusations against him of accepting money for the missed concert. The British singer blamed problems with the instruments and the hall for cancelling the show.—Vienna.
