Stolen computer
The Christchurch police have recovered computers and typewriters valued about $15,000 that were taken in a smash-and-grab raid on a shop in Riccarton Road early yesterday morning. Burglars used an iron drain grille to break a window in the shop about 1.30 a.m. The police were following a strong line of inquiry into the burglary, said Detective Senior-Sergeant R. G. Carson.
