Golf title to Nick Faldo
NZPA-Reuter Hilton Head Island, South Carolina Nick Faldo, of Britain, held off a strong challenge from Tom Kite yesterday to win his first golf tournament in the United States, the SUS4OO,OOO Heritage Classic.
Faldo, who started the day with a four-stroke lead over Kite and two other Americans, had two birdies and no bogeys for a steady 69 and a one-stroke victory over Kite, who had five birdies on his way to a five-under-par 66.
