Anzac Day betting
PA Wellington The T.A.B. has made special arrangements for betting on five Anzac Day races because of the restricted hours it can operate tomorrow. The T.A.B. cannot accept bets until 1 p.m. tomorrow which reduces the time available for betting on the first two races at Avondale and the first at Waipa, Manawatu, and Canterbury. Ali five are due to start shortly after 1 p.m. The T.A.B. said betting on the five will close at manual offices at 6 p.m. today and at computer offices and telebetting centres, betting on the first at Avondale will close at 6 p.m. All offices and telebetting centres open at 1 p.m. tomorrow.
