Agreement on wheat pool
PA Wellington An agreement has been reached on the United Wheat Growers' national pool after negotiation between the United Wheat Growers' and Cereal Exports New Zealand, the groups have said. This comes after the withdrawal of the South Island Barley Society as marketing agent. Both parties have agreed oh one pool for the whole industry. Cereal Exports New Zealand will administer and. in conjunction with United Wheat Growers, market the wheat. United Wheat Growers has been a strong advocate of a single desk seller and this objective has now been achieved.
