Nursing prizes awarded

Christchurch School of Nursing prizes have been awarded as follows:

Florence Nightingale Medal for highest mark in written papers and practical assessment: Mrs Allison Le Heux.

Louis Amos Bennett Memorial Prize for highest theoretical grades in class one: Mrs Allison Le Heux. New Zealand Nurses’ Association Canterbury branch prize for practical nursing: Miss Anne Heald.

Wendy Watson Memorial Prize for obstetrical nursing in class one: Miss Sarah Beauchamp. Fenwick Memorial Prize for medical nursing in class one: Mrs Allison Le Heux.

Hugh Acland Prize for surgical nursing in class one: Miss Elizabeth O’Brien.

Jean Walker and Rosalind Webb Memorial Prize for practical nursing in class three, Christchurch Hospital: Mrs Linda Lane.

Jocelyn Scott Memorial Prize for practical nursing in class three, The Princess Margaret Hospital: Mrs Jacqueline Harris. Second-year prize: Mrs Linda Lane. First year prize: Miss Grace Yee.
