Anita Clayton now in critical condition
PA Ashburton Anita Clayton, the Ashburton girl in London for life-saving surgery, is back in hospital in a critical condition, according to her family. She was now having chemotherapy for a tumour in the bladder, said her sister, Mrs Maree Singh, of Belfast,
Anita Clayton, who is 15, was readmitted to hospital
last week-end after several
days of extreme pain, according to Mrs Singh. She last heard from her mother, Mrs Mere Clayton, about two days ago. Anita had not long been released from hospital after surgery to remove a malignant ovarian tumour. Mrs Clayton was the subject of a national appear to send her to her daughter’s bedside. She flew to London just over a week ago.
