Tour postponed
The Commodores, an American funk-rock group, have postponed their March tour of New Zealand until next month, according to Mr Wendell Hynes, the promoter for the group’s New Zealand shows. The Commodores were meant to play in the Christchurch Town Hall auditorium on Thursday, but recording commitments in
Los Angeles meant the group had to put back their tour until the second week in April. The tour was expected to run from April 9 to April 18, and the show dates would be announced tomorrow, Mr Hynes said. All tickets sold for Thursday’s Town Hall concert were eligible for the April show, he said.
