Ferry out for refit
PA Wellington The Cook Strait rail ferry Aratika will be withdrawn from service next; week for an extended mid-life refit and survey. Her withdrawal will see the return of the freight
ferry Arahanga, which was taken out of service early in January for an extended refit and survey. When the Aratika returns to the Wellington-Picton run in May the Aranui is expected to join the Aramoana in retirement.
