r SENIOR PRODUCTION ENGINEER Electrical/Electronics Christchurch We have been retained by a substantial Christchurch-based company to assist in the recruitment of a senior production engineer. The company is part of an International group and specialises in the design, production and marketing of electrical and electronic products and systems. Reporting to the Production Divisional Manager, the appointee will be responsible for the provision of technical and engineering suport for all facets of the Production Division's activities. This will involve supervising a small team of support engineers, producing production standards and methods, liaising with the Development Division and involvement in tenders and special contracts. Ideally applicants will be qualified to NZCE (production) level and possess experience as a production engineer, preferably within the electronic/electrical industry. The position demands a level of experience and maturity that is most likely to be found in people aged over 28 years. This is an excellent opportunity to further develop technical and managerial skills. The salary package is negotiable.
