Echo-sounder to be bought

PA Wellington A 150,000 echo-sounder simulator will be bought by the Nelson Polytechnic this year to provide training for commercial fishermen.

The Norwegian simulator, the first of its kind in New Zealand, will be used in an advanced fishing course to help deep-water fishermen refine their techniques for locating fish such as orange jroughy.
