Futures lower
The wool futures market fell during the week. Yesterday prices were about 10c lower across the board from the previous Friday. Mr Geoff McDonnell, the futures manager of Mair and Company, Ltd, said that
the price drop came after a poorer offering of wool at auction in Auckland and Invercargill this week. “We cannot really see a major upswing in the next two or three weeks,” he said.
