Dog trapped in phone box

A German shepherd dog was trapped in a telephone booth for about half an hour yesterday afternoon before he was released by the S.P.C.A.

The dog is believed to have pushed open the slightly ajar telephone box door then found that he was unable to get out. The S.P.C.A. was called about 3 p.m. to release the distressed dog from the box, at the corner of Ferry Road and Barbour Street. Last evening the S.P.C.A. was trying to find the owner of the long-haired, black-and-tan dog.
