Mum’s boy to the last

NZPA-AFP Athens A Greek court has annulled a marriage after the bride discovered her husband on their honeymoon night wrapped up like a baby and sucking his mother’s breast. Greek newspapers reported that after an uneventful seven-year en-

gagement the woman had married the civil servant, aged 44, and that they had set off happily on a honeymoon in Venice. The mother-in-law had said that she wanted to visit friends in the city, and had gone along, too. On the wedding night the husband had told his bride

that he was going to say goodnight to his mother, the Court was told.

When he failed to reappear the young bride had gone to investigate. Looking through the keyhole, she had been shocked to see her husband clasped to his mother's breast, carefully wrapped in a blanket.
