Third-TV issues soon
PA Wellington The Broadcasting Corporation Tribunal should report this month on a range of issues concerning the planned third 'television channel, said the Minister of Broadcasting, Dr Shearer, last evening. The four-month study followed up Government ap-
proval .last year for the introduction of. a regionally based private channel, Dr Shearer said in Auckland. The issues covered included the number of regions and the regional boundaries, the extent to which newspaper ownership should be permitted, and timetables for the channel’s introduction.
