Susan Gee marries

PA Auckland The name S. Branch among confirmed driving engagements for tonight’s Waikato meeting will be confusing to some betters. It is, however, the former Susan Gee, who recently married Murray Branch. Susan has been a leader in her field since women were licenced to drive in totalisator races. It is appropriate that her first drives since her marriage should be at the Waikato meeting, as her husband is a former secretary of the club. They both come from the Hamilton area. Susan will drive The Baron in the White Horse Whisky Mobile, the first leg of the T.A.B. double, and Pacing Jesse in the second leg, the Waikato Times Mobile. She also trains that horse.
