PA Auckland Four jockeys were suspended for infringements at Ellerslie on Saturday. They were Jim Cassidy, Shane Dye, Terry Bryden, and Trevor Bau. All were suspended up to and including next Saturday. Cassidy, the rider of Grand Talk in the Royal Stakes, was held to have caused interference to Walksfar about 200 m from the finish.
