PA Auckland A man awaiting trial on charges of possessing and manufacturing the hallucinogenic drug, Angel Dust, has escaped from Oakley Hospital, Auckland. The police last evening were still searching for Bruce Douglas Cameron, aged 32, who disappeared from the hospital grounds about 9.30 p.m. on Wednesday.
Cameron was committed for a High Court trial on charges of possessing and manufacturing Angel Dust, a class A controlled drug called phencyclidine, after a two-day hearing in the District Court at Auckland in December.
