PRIME REQUIREMENTS AND DUTIES 1. Be fully skilled in all aspect of volume production management preferably gained a metal trades/production engineering environment but other relevant production experience will be considered. 2. Be able to fully demonstrate successful management leadership and motivational skills allied to the ability to effectively relate at all levels in the manufacturing production environment. 3. Control all facilities to meet agreed output rates, quality standards and profit targets being fully responsible for all producion and engineering operations. 4. Be capable of developing and implementing innovative production techniques where these can be demonstrated to further improve manufacturing efficiences, quality and profit and be familiar with EDP manufactu- j ring systems. 5. Qualifications of direct benefits would be a relevant NZCE option, applicable professional qualifications or a minimum ATC in metal trades supported by substantial on job management experience. The Works Manager will be well supported by key engineering and producting staff specifically skilled in specialist functions.
