PA Auckland A former Australian Federal treasurer, Mr John Howard, is in New Zealand this week meeting business leaders and Government officials to discuss labour laws and New Zealand reaction to closer economic relations with Australia. Mr Howard, who visited
N.Z. Forest Products, Feltex, and met the president of the Manufacturers’ Federation, Mr Earl Richardson, is looking at New Zealand’s voluntary unionism law. He is a guest of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and is the Australian Opposition’s spokesman on finance.
