PA Wellington More than 50,000 compressed natural gas kits have been sold in New Zealand, the Minister of Energy, Mr Birch, said yesterday. He was confident the target of 200,000 vehicles converted to C.N.G. by the end of 1990 would be met. December’s kit sales of 2418 were the highest for any month last year, when 19,220 kits were sold. In 1982 the total was 15,663.
