December exports fall
PA Wellington Preliminary trade figures for December show an excess of exports over imports of $37.9 million, the Government Statistician announced yesterday. A year earlier, exports for the month exceeded imports by $109.8 million. December figures were: Exports valued at $674.5 million, imports valued at $636.6 million, with the corresponding figures for December last year being $712.2 million and $602.4 million.
