Pied piper
A march led by a pied piper and children in national costume will be held tomorrow to mark the finale of the “Summer Times” programme. A mock missile and pa-pier-mache masks depicting nuclear power leaders will also feature in the march. Hula dancers on a truck will contribute to the international theme of the day’s
activities. The march will begin at Latimer Square at 11.30 a.m. and will go to North Hagley Park via Cathedral Square and Armagh Street. Pigeons will be released at the park and entertainment will be provided by Horizin, Out-Of-Order, and Pachamama, and by Lebanese, Spanish, and Indian dancers.
