Chief Executive Alliance Freezing Company f Substantial Remuneration Package Situated in Invercargill, the Alliance Group comprises freezing works at Ocean Beach and Lorneville which together with other subsidiaries and associated interests in New Zealand and overseas make the company a significant force within the meat freezing industry and a major Southland employer. As a producer co-operative the company has a philosophy of market innovation, product excellence and efficiency, with a commitment to high productivity and good industrial relations. The position of Chief Executive arises through retirement and the incumbent’s key objective is to plan, lead, organise, and control group resources through an experienced senior team to ensure continuing growth and profitability. We are seeking applications from senior executives with broad management experience, not necessarily in the meat industry. Importantly, the requirecf attributes include pronounced leadership skills, excellence in communications, strategic skills, and commercial flair. The incumbent will, as a matter of course, become involved in industry affairs and government contacts as well as overseas representation, and must possess the confidence required to act effectively at this level.
