Two former test players score centuries
Two former New Zealand batsmen, Noel McGregor and Brian Hastings, scored the only centuries when lower grade inter-club cricket resumed in Christchurch on Saturday. Both are now displaying many of their old skills in the president’s grade. McGregor, aged 52, scored 115 for St Albans against High School Old Boys A, and Hastings, aged 43, made 107 for Burnside-West at the expense of Sydenham A. The most notable bowling feat was that of Greg Coffey, who had a hat-trick for the Marist ninth grade side against Lancaster Park A. Scores.— Second grade Old Boys 244/6 (M.
