Wool prices firm
Wool prices continued to firm at yesterday’s Christchurch wool sale, lifting the market indicator 13c a kilogram during the two-day sale from its mark of 283 c on Monday. The re-emergence of China in the market contributed more demand in the 30 to 32 micron diameter range, but there still remains an oversupply of 29 micron wool for the present demand.
