Fact users’ conference
An Auckland software company, Fact International, Ltd, held its first users’ conference recently. The conference, in Rotorua, attracted users from 17 companies using Fact’s software.
Fact started out in Hamilton five years ago, specialising in manufacturing data-processing systems. Over the last two years the company has been diversify-
ing beyond manufacturing systems, into inventory control, distribution and financial systems. The company now has a staff of 18 and an estimated revenue this year of $1.4 million, including about $250,000 from overseas sales. Fact’s software runs on Wang equipment. Timaru Milling Company, Ltd. is a Fact user.
