Phone 890-289 after 4.30 p.m. University Vacancies S UNIVERSITY OF WAIKATO UNIVERSITY OF WAIKATO POSTDOCTORAL FELLOWSHIPS (AB3/18) THE Unlveristy of Waikato invites applications for postdoctoral fellowships to be taken up during 1984 for one or for three years. The fellowships will be funded and awarded by the University Grants Committee and tenable at the University of Waikato. Applications from candidates who wish to hold a fellowship in any department of the University will be considered; the University Grants Committee, however, in making the awards, will give priority to current growth research areas such as biotechnology, genetic engineering, electronics, engineering, chemistry, etc. Applicants should have been awarded, or qualified for the award of, the degree of Doctor of Philosophy. The emolument payable to the Fellow will be determined at a rate not exceeding step one of the scale for lecturers (i.e. $21,660 p.a.).
