Renaissance influence seen in decor of new shoe shop
Crestani’s Shoes brings a Renaissance flavour to the Windmill Centre in a shop that boasts one of the most striking interior designs in the area. The Italian influence that is the Crestani heritage has been used to great effect and bold tones of pink and green put the decor well out of the ordinary. The finished product is the result of consultation with Z.R. Interior Design. The Crestani family has been in the footwear business in Sydenham, where it
owns Scott’s Footwear, for the last year and the new Riccarton shop was an obvious progression. Both the cosy, compact feeling of the Windmill Centre development and the fact that Riccarton is one of the fastest-growing suburban shopping areas convinced Crestanis to spread their wings, Mr John Crestani says. The shop stocks a wide range of casual and dress shoes for men and women and imported shoes as well as locally-made styles are
on display. Sports shoes are a specialty of Crestani’s with top brands for all types of sports in stock. As an opening promotion for the shop, Crestani’s are offering all customers who make a purchase valued at more than $25 the chance to win a week-end for two at the luxurious Sheraton Auckland Hotel, including air fares, accommodation and evening meals. The prize will be drawn in February.
