Mr Alfred Gewinn, of Bremerhaven, West Germany, goes for a spin on the four-wheel vehicle he has built using the front part of a Solex moped. Mr Gewinn, aged 84, has just received his driver’s licence, the first he has held. The licence has been made out for a “multi-wheeled bicycle with auxiliary motor” and is referred to by friends as a "grandpamobile.” It has a maximum speed of 25 kilometres an hour.
