Robbery admitted
PA Dunedin Two of three men jointly charged with aggravated robbery after an incident at a Kentucky Fried Chicken outlet on October 23 entered pleas of guilty in the District Court at Dunedin yesterday. Laurence Trevor Margan, aged 18, unemployed chef, and Peter James Muir, aged 18, pruning contractor, were each convicted of robbing Roger Edward Edie of $702 while armed With a .22 Browning pump-action rifle. Judge V. R. Jamieson remanded them in custody for probation reports and sentence in the High Court at Dunedin on November 18. James Robertson Knowles, aged 18, process worker, also charged with aggravated robbery, has been remanded in custody without plea to November 10.
