Pig carcases judged
Judging of pig carcases on the hooks at the Ashburton Agricultural and Pastoral Show was completed on Monday. Results are: Porkers (9): G. Wragg and Son 1, P. J. Hampton 2, J. Waller 3.
Baconers (7): G. Wragg’and Son 1 and 2, J. Waller 3.; The carcases were judged by Mr John Cartney, a Meat Board inspector, of Timaru. Pigs on the hoof were judged earlier by Mr D. J. Hurford, of Irwell. '. ,>
