Bus stops moved
Three bus stops in Cathedral Square have been moved by the Christchurch Transport Board. From today, the Dallington bus will leave from Worcester Street, opposite the Avon Theatre.
The Burwood bus stop is .now on the traffic island in front of the A.M.P. building. The sightseeing bus will leave from outside the Transport Board’s kiosk at the northern end of the Square.
An extra stop has also been created on the Mays Road route. The stop is in Durham Street just south of Armagh Street. A stop has been placed, outside Carruca House, at the south-east corner of the Square, for the new weekend bus services to Spencer Park, Kairaki, and Brooklands. Maps showing the sites of all bus stops in the Square have been placed in the Square.
