Actor dies

A veteran Shakespearean actor, Paul Hardwick, who appeared in the latest James Bond film, “Octopussy,” has died at Wyndham’s Theatre in London’s West End. He was 64. Friends said that the actor collapsed a few minutes before he was due on stage in the play “Little Lies.” The cause of death was not known. Hardwick was a member of the Royal Shakespeare Company and first appeared in New York with them in 1963 in “The Hollow Crown.”—London.
