Tail work agreement
An interim agreement to cover work needed to meet a new Meat Board processing requirement has been reached between the West--field Freezing Company and the Auckland Freezing Workers’ Union. . -T. The company’s general
manager, Mr G. T. Taylor, said yesterday that a trial system for removing tails or tail stumps from lamb and sheep carcases would work for two days. Under the system, an additional labourer will be put on the killing chain.
