Nobilo shows timely form

Frank Nebilo, of Auckland, leaves today to' defend his New South Wales P.G.A. golf title at Newcastle after having won the Waitikiri pro-am tournament yesterday. A par 71 was sufficient to give Nobilo a one-stroke victory. He was in some trouble in the early stages, being three-over after four holes before recovering to be one-under after the eleventh. He dropped shots at 14 and 15, ana needed a birdie at the eighteenth to edge out the three joint runners-up.
