Suffer the little children to come unto Me. BECKER — To Linda and Ernie, at Nelson Hospital, on September 30, 1983 — a bonny son (Mathew Bernard). A brother for Andrew.

BURGESS — To Janet and Wayne — a daughter, on October 1, 1983, at Christchurch Women’s Hospital. A sister for Jeremy. Both well. CASE — To Brenda and Gavin — a daughter, at Burwood Hospital, on October 2, 1983. Thanks to nursing staff and doctor. Both well. CHRISTIENSEN — To Jakkl and Bill— a daughter (Lauren), at Christchurch Women’s Hospital, on October 2, 1983. COUNIHAN — To Peter, Gall and boys — a baby girl, on September 30, 1983, at Burwood Hospital. Our thanks to doctor and nursing staff. DUNCAN — To Rosemary and John — a daughter (71b 4oz), bom September 30, 1983, at Rangiora. A sister for Ashley and Katie.

EMMETT — To Mary and Ross, on October 1, 1983, at Burwood Hospital — a son (Matthew Ross, 71b 7oz). A little brother for Nicola and Klrsty. Both well.
