Searchers stood down

PA Napier A team of 20 police searchers, called in to help find the missing Napier schoolgirl, Kirsa Jensen, has been stood down. A police spokesman confirmed last evening that the ground search was suspended in the meantime. The team had thoroughly scoured all likely places since Kirsa Jensen went missing on September 1, he said. The man leading the inquiry, Detective Inspector lan Holyoake, said yesterday that week-end pleasure trippers, especially fishermen, could help with the search.
