Weighty problem
A young woman who was too fat to stand has been placed on a special diet in an English hosital to reduce her 205 kg weight. The unidentified woman, aged 20, at first occupied two beds. But after six weeks treatment she had lost “a fair amount” of weight and could walk, said a hospital, spokesman at Mansfield, near Nottingham. Before going to hospital, she had been unable to leave home for two years and had spent her time lying on a mattress.—London.
