Harry Ellwood
Sir,—l would be most interested to hear from relatives, past pupils etc. of Harry Ellwood, who by any standards was an extremely fine violinist; certainly one of the best New Zealand has ever produced. He appears to have spent most, if not all of his life in New Zealand, and his early trailing is therefore some-
thing of a mystery. I am attempting to put together a profile of his life, most of which appears to have been spent in Christchurch. — Yours, etc., T. P. GARRITY. 67 Cannington Rd, Maori Hill, Dunedin. September 26, 1983.
