furlongs last Sunday. Teh Choon Beng, who trains Jambeau and is visiting New Zealand for the Waikato Ready to Run Sales, said at the Cambridge training track yesterday that Jambeau was beaten by half a length by Freedom Fighter, a New Zea-land-bred horse by Noble Bijou. Jambeau has had three races in Singapore for two seconds and a fourth. The first time he finished second he was beaten by the former New Zealand galloper, Thorogood.
