Nelson, Buller, Westland: Fine; moderate southeasterlies. Tomorrow: Some showers in coastal Canterbury and Marlborough; elsewhere fine; southerlies. Extended range forecast for the South Island for Thursday to Saturday: Mostly dry; a few showers developing on the West Coast, especially south of Hokitika; north to northwesterlies gradually prevailing; temperatures about average at first with some inland frosts, but rising to a few degrees above by Saturday.
