Spirited recovery
NZPA Perth Australia staged a spirited recovery to beat India, 2-1, in the fourth and final test of the Esanda Super Challenge hockey series in Perth at the week-end. The Australian triumph levelled the series at 2-2, the home side having also
won the third test. The desperate and grimly determined successful bid by Australia to win the last two tests reflected their anger at themselves for capitulating to the match hardened Indians in Melbourne in the two tests the previous week-end.
