ASHWORTH, Stephen Henry (Steve) (formerly of Lauriston) — On September 26,1983, at Tuarangl Home, Ashburton, dearly loved husband of the late May and the late Lena, much loved father and father-in-law of May and Larry Newberry-Johnson, Ray and Edna (Christchurch), Charlie and Enid (Christchurch), Wally and Alicia, and the late William and Flo (Riverton), and loved pop of his 21 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren; In his 87th year. (Ist World War Vet., Reg. No. 10755.) Messages to Mr W. L. Ashworth, No. 6 R.D. Ashburton. The Funeral will leave St Andrew’s Presbyterian Church, corner Havelock and Park Streets, Ashburton, Tomorrow (Wednesday), after a service commencing at 2 p.m., for the Services Section of the Ashburton New Lawn Cemetery. Patersons Funeral Services, Ashburton. BOOTTEN, Moyra Parkinson, of 41 Albertson Avenue, Port Chalmers — On September 25, 1983 (suddenly), at her home, dearly loved wife of Gordon; loved Moyra of James and Shirley Bootten, Dorothy and Colin Wilson (Tapanul), and Margaret and John Laughland (Walheke Island), and a much loved nana. A service will be held tn lona Church, Port Chalmers, Tomorrow (Wednesday), at 11 a.m., followed by private Interment. Flowers respectfully declined. Hope and Sons, Ltd, F.D.A.N.Z.
