Filly brings $2300

Special correspondent Dunedin A two-year-old filly by Beaufort Sea from Flower Girl brought top price of $2300 at an unreserved sale of thoroughbred stock at Wingatui on Saturday. She was among stock dispersed by Francis Donnelly, of Dunedin. Mr Don-, nelly, who has been ill, sold his farm at Omakau earlier this .year. The filly was bought by Dave May, of Lawrence, and John Carran, of Otautau.

Flower Girl, which had been served by Beaufort Sea, last year, was sold for $l5OO to Ron Ussher, of Cromwell.

The 19-year-old mare, which won six races, has left the winners, Barrow Boy and Commonwealth.
