A two-volume set on the work of the Dutch-born New Zealand artist, Petrus Van der Velden (1837-1913), is held by an assistant librarian at the Christchurch Teachers’ College, Anne Giles. The set, valued at $350, is included in a display in the college library of books bought with grants from the Canterbury Savings Bank during the last three years.
