Car, bus collide
Two persons were admitted to the intensive-care unit of Christchurch Hospital after the car they were travelling in and a bus collided on Saturday evening. '
The collision between the car and a Leopard Coachline bus occurred at 6 p.m. at the intersection of Tuam Street and High
Street. Richard James Borck, aged seven, and Stewart Borck, aged 15, are both reported in a serious condition. The car’s third occupant, Mrs Cecilia Borck, is in a comfortable condition.
The driver of the bus, Lenze Pender, aged 21, was also admitted to hospital. His condition is not serious.
