Inv. girl set to win ice skating title
Last year’s winner of the New Zealand pre-junior women’s ice figure skating championship, Julie Dawson of Invercargill, is likely*to retain her title after finishing second in the figures event at the Centaurus rink yesterday. Auckland and Christchurch are involved in a close battle for the Allchurch Shield - the trophy awarded to the club gaining the most points.
