Paul Simon to wed
NZPA New York The songwriter, Paul Simon, was due to marry the actress, Carrie Fisher, in New York City today, the “Daily News” reported yesterday. Simon and Miss Fisher, who has won fame as Princess Leia in the “Star Wars” trilogy, were to marry “in a very private ceremony.” The paper said that the wedding would be performed by a rabbi with Miss Fisher’s divorced parents, the actress Debbie Reynolds and the singer Eddie Fisher, and her brother, Todd Fisher, attending.
