Farmers’ contest
The final of the “Skellerup Young Farmer of the Year” contest will be screened live on Two at 8.30 tonight. The show, from Founders Theatre, Hamilton, will test the contestants’ knowledge and experience with a wide-
ranging quiz session. It will also include coverage of practical tests held earlier in the day at a farm near Hamilton. Organisers say this practical session will test the full range of skills needed by today’s farmers.
